ANN ARBOR -- It looks as if Michigan will be down a running back for its Big Ten opener.
Junior Chris Evans is not dressed or participating in warmups ahead of Saturday's game against Nebraska (Noon, FS1).
This development comes three days after Michigan running backs coach Jay Harbaugh told reporters Evans and fifth-year senior Karan Higdon both practiced and expected to play.
Higdon -- who sat out last week's 35-20 win over Southern Methodist with an undisclosed injury -- is dressed and going through warmups.
Expect former walk-on Tru Wilson to share the reps with Higdon.
