The college baseball world has high expectations for the University of Michigan in 2016.
After winning the Big Ten tournament and appearing in the Louisville Regional of the NCAA tournament a year ago, the Wolverines earned the No. 15 ranking Monday in Baseball America's Preseason Top-25.
Michigan finished 39-25 last season, losing to Louisville in the regional title game. It was the team's first return to the regional round of the postseason since 2008 — the last year Michigan earned a preseason top-15 ranking (No. 8).
Florida received the top-spot in the Baseball America rankings, followed by Louisville, Texas A&M, Virginia and Oregon State.
