ANN ARBOR -- Wilton Speight is going to be out for the foreseeable future.
Michigan's starting quarterback was ruled unable to play in Saturday's game against Michigan State (7:30 p.m., ABC), and "for multiple weeks," head coach Jim Harbaugh said Monday during his weekly news conference.
"He won't be able to compete this week, or for multiple weeks," Harbaugh said.
Fifth-year senior John O'Korn has been named the starting quarterback for the prime-time show down with the Spartans, the first game O'Korn has started this season.
Speight suffered an undisclosed upper-body injury in Michigan's Sept.
