The Elite 11 finals at the end of this month may be without a Michigan quarterback recruit.
U-M commit Joe Milton, part of the 2018 class, was not among the 12 quarterbacks advancing to the Elite 11 finals, after participating in a weekend competition in Southern California.
U-M is still recruiting another quarterback in the 2018 class, Tyler Shough, and he qualified for the finals, set for June 29-30 in Beaverton, Ore.
The Elite 11 rounds are an evaluation process based on drills, performance and classroom work in front of quarterback experts. The players were ranked at the end of a three-day experience and the top 12 moved on.
