Some news and notes heading into Michigan's Big Ten opener against Purdue on Saturday (4p.m., FOX):
TY ISAAC: Received plenty of inquires on him this week, but it sounds like the senior running back should be available to play. Isaac left Michigan's win over Air Force in the fourth quarter with an apparent abdominal injury, though school officials have not confirmed either way. Asked about him on Monday, Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh said, "I think he's going to be OK." Isaac has rushed for 336 yards in three games this season.
THE LINE: It appears as if Las Vegas sports books nailed the line on this one.
