Jim Harbaugh is not on the hot seat at Michigan, and the school's president is saying as much.
University of Michigan President Mark Schlissel, during a Detroit Economic Club luncheon Wednesday in Detroit, was apparently asked about Harbaugh's status as head football coach.
"He's not on the hot seat," Schlissel said. "He's under contract for four more years."

Harbaugh is 28-12 in his three-plus seasons at Michigan, but the Wolverines are off to an 0-1 start after a 24-17 loss to Notre Dame on Saturday.
