Jim Harbaugh allowed students into a practice at Michigan Stadium on Saturday evening, but it wasn’t quite the open environment. Those who attended were required to put cell phones away, and could even be removed if they failed to follow that directive. But while live reports were tough to come by, plenty of news seeped out following the conclusion of activities.
The Michigan Daily had a strong presence at the practice, and some others observed players entering the stadium, leading to a few interesting nuggets of information.
Estimates ranged from 300-400 students were in attendance, with the low number primarily because the Spring/Summer term ended on Friday, and classes don’t resume until Sept.
