Michigan players in shock after FB Ben Mason's 'ridiculous' hurdle vs. Maryland

ANN ARBOR -- Michigan senior fullback Ben Mason gave the Wolverines sideline something to cheer about just two plays into Saturday's game against Maryland.

Mason caught a pass in the flat, and it appeared like he would be tackled by Maryland defensive back Darnell Savage Jr. for a short gain. Instead, the 6-foot-3, 254-pounder hurdled Savage and picked up a good chunk of extra yardage for a 15-yard gain.
