In 1986, Michigan senior co-captain Jim Harbaugh let it be known that a Michigan victory at Ohio Stadium, against Ohio State, was happening. He guaranteed it.
On Monday, Michigan senior co-captain Karan Higdon was asked by a reporter to do the same thing. So he did.
The circumstances surrounding the two moments couldn’t be more different.
