The redshirt sophomore already transferred once, playing at North Texas during the 2020 season where he had 35 tackles (24 solo, 11 assisted) and three pass breakups while appearing in eight games. He then redshirted in 2021, totaling just six tackles.
In 2022, Stout started in 11 games for Western Kentucky and played in all 14.
