In-state 2022 wide receiver Tay’Shawn Trent may be stuck inside just like the rest of us due to the coronavirus outbreak, but somehow, someway, his recruitment has managed to take flight during the quarantine.
In the last week alone, Trent has received offers from West Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana, Toledo, Central Michigan and Cincinnati. On Saturday, Michigan offensive coordinator Josh Gatis entered Michigan into the recruiting race by offering him a scholarship.
“The conversation started off smooth and ended smooth,” Trent told Maize n Brew. “Coach Gattis is a very genuine coach and cares more about you than football.
