INDIANAPOLIS -- There are very few players like Michigan’s Moe Wagner -- a 6-foot-11 center who can post up, shoot threes and take his man off the dribble with a behind-the-back crossover -- in college basketball.
So how do you prepare for him in a few days, with no real experience?
Not easily, Oklahoma State discovered.
The Cowboys' roster has only one player over 6-feet-9 -- 7-foot freshman Lucas N’Guessan -- so most of their prep work was imaginary.
“It’s a little tough, but we’re doing it all right,” 6-foot-9 center Mitchell Solomon said. “I’m just thinking about, when I’m practicing, keeping in mind that I can’t close out short.
