Maryland quarterback Billy Edwards Jr. entered the transfer portal last Thursday, and predictions were cast by On3’s Steve Wiltfong and Pete Nakos in favor of the Michigan Wolverines the very next morning.
But things took a drastic turn on Monday when Wiltfong and Nakos flipped their predictions in favor of a different Big Ten school — Wisconsin. Edwards took a trip to Wisconsin over the weekend and reportedly had a “great” time in Madison, according to Nakos.
Additionally, Nakos reported Edwards isn’t expected to make his originally scheduled visit to Michigan that was set for Monday, but that Edwards will “probably take another visit before making a final decision.
