Another day. Another record set by Thomas Edward Patrick Brady.
The 19-year veteran tossed for 283 yards on 20-of-31 passing in a 27-13 road victory Sunday against the New York Jets. This set a new career passing yards record for regular season and playoff games combined with 79,280.
In terms of regular-season passing yards, Brady remains fourth all-time behind Drew Brees (73,580), Peyton Manning (71,940) and Brett Favre (71,838).
He also reached 3,000 yards passing for the 16th season, tying Peyton Manning for second in NFL history behind Brett Favre’s 18.
