The Michigan Wolverines were up 21-3 on Arkansas State at halftime on Saturday at the Big House, but only managed to win by 10 points, 28-18.
It was a tale of two halves — Michigan put up 282 yards of offense (106 passing) in the first 30 minutes, but only 153 (just 28 passing) in the second half. The Wolverines averaged just over eight yards per play in the first half, but that dipped down to 5.7 in the second half. the offense only put seven points on the board in the second half compared to 21 points in the first half.
