The Michigan men's and women's basketball teams will partake in the newly-created Jumpman Invitational, a multi-team tournament created by Jordan Brand and the Charlotte Sports Foundation, the foundation announced Thursday morning.
The Wolverines, along with Florida, North Carolina and Oklahoma — "the original four teams to sign partnership deals with Jordan Brand in both basketball and football," the foundation said in a statement — will partake in the inaugural tournament in 2022 between Dec. 20-21.
The tournament will be played at the Spectrum Center, home to the Charlotte Hornets, and will feature two games per night, all of which will be on ESPN.
