Lincoln, Neb. — Michigan was looking to wipe away the sting and ease the pressure.
With their seeding already determined for the Big Ten tournament, the Wolverines set their sights on removing any doubt and solidifying their NCAA Tournament bid in the regular-season finale against Nebraska.
Senior guard Derrick Walton Jr. put on a show and Michigan took advantage of Nebraska’s sloppy play to roll to a resounding, 93-57 victory Sunday night at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
Walton recorded his fourth double-double of the season with 18 points and a single-game program record 16 assists for Michigan (20-11, 10-8 Big Ten), which shot 14-for-27 from 3-point range.
