This is surprising.
A day after projected starting cornerback DJ Waller, a former three-star prospect, entered the transfer portal, a true freshman who hasn’t played a snap for the Michigan Wolverines appears to be on the move as well.
After committing last June, Belleville (Mich.) four-star linebacker Jeremiah Beasley arrived in Ann Arbor in December and enrolled early to participate in bowl prep as Michigan made its run to a national championship.
Beasley had generated a lot of positive attention from the coaching staff between then and spring and was expected to have a bright future under Sherrone Moore and newly hired position coach, Brian Jean-Mary.
