MOBILE, Ala. -- NFL scouts may not be beating down the door to meet with Mike McCray, but the former Michigan linebacker is doing his best to stand out in other ways.
McCray spent the week practicing at MIKE linebacker, weak-side linebacker and on special teams ahead of Saturday's Senior Bowl (2:30 p.m. ET, NFL Network) at Ladd-Peebles Stadium.
By Thursday, he was presiding over the North defense, shouting instructions to his new, temporary, teammates.
"It's different," McCray told MLive Thursday afternoon, after the North team concluded its final practice of the week.
"Because in college, you don't really (control) it as much.
