ANN ARBOR -- Jim Harbaugh said he's on the precipice of becoming an animal. Don Brown said he's ready for more playing time.
His position coach had to dip into his 11-year career to try and find someone to compare.
The hype for Michigan linebacker Josh Uche over the last few months has been loud. Uche, meanwhile, has kept the headphones in.
"I don't like to listen to the hype," Uche told reporters on Tuesday. "Because the hype won't get you paid or put food in your stomach."
The story began last January, when the 6-foot-3, 238-pound Florida native went to defensive coordinator Don Brown asking for more playing time.
