Michigan received a commitment Saturday from four-star defensive end Stephen Herron for the 2019 class. It was the second commitment of the day for the Wolverines.
The 6-foot-3, 235-pound Herron, out of Trinity High School in Louisville, is No. 1 player in Kentucky, according to Scout.com. Herron, who plays for Trinity High in Louisville, is ranked the No. 41 player overall in the nation by Scout.com for 2019.
Herron made his announcement Saturday on Twitter.
Herron's offer list was impressive and included Ohio State, Alabama, Oregon and many other top programs.
Nolan Rumler, a four-star offensive lineman from Archbishop Hoban in Akron, Ohio, committed to Michigan’s 2019 class earlier in the day.
