Michigan Lacrosse falls to Rutgers in Big Ten Tournament

The No. 13 and fourth-seeded Michigan Wolverines (7-7) saw their season end after a disappointing outing against the fifth-seeded Rutgers Scarlet Knights (7-8), 11-8.

Michigan needed to make a run in the Big Ten Tournament, but this gutting quarterfinal loss will leave them on the outside looking in for the NCAA Tournament.

It was an unconventional start between these conference foes as they played to a 4-4 tie after 15 minutes. The Wolverines’ offense looked unstoppable, with Ryan Cohen leading the way as a facilitator and Aidan Mulholland dominating from the midfield.
