Michigan is losing one of its experienced kickers for the 2018 season.
Ryan Tice, who saw playing time in 2016, has opted to pursue a graduate transfer at the University of Tennessee, he confirmed to MLive on Monday.
The 6-foot-1, 172-pound kicker has two years of eligibility left and will join the Tennessee football program as a walk-on, he said.
Tice converted all seven point-after attempts for Michigan in 2016, a season that saw Kenny Allen handle a bulk of the punts, kickoffs and placekicking.
He attempted just one field goal all season and handled three kickoffs.
