Poll voters were apparently over-the-top impressed with Michigan's dominating win over Wisconsin on Saturday.
The Wolverines are a top-10 football team again.
Michigan vaulted six spots, to No. 6, in this week's AP Top 25 poll, less than 24 hours after it pummeled Wisconsin, 38-13, in front of a nationally televised, prime-time audience at Michigan Stadium.
The win is the sixth in a row for Michigan (6-1, 4-0 Big Ten), which travels to East Lansing next weekend to play in-state rival Michigan State.
This is the highest Michigan has been ranked in the weekly AP poll since December 2016.
