The Michigan men’s ice hockey team was back in action this weekend, traveling to South Bend to take on Notre Dame for a two-game series. Following a win and a tie against St. Cloud State last weekend, Michigan was looking to continue its momentum against the Irish.
While it might not have been the sweep the Wolverines were hoping for, Michigan did manage to split the series by losing the opener on Friday and then winning on Saturday.
On Friday, Notre Dame got the scoring started with a goal seven minutes into the game courtesy of Landon Slaggert.
