Coming off a major series win on the road against Boston University last weekend, the Michigan Wolverines men’s ice hockey team enjoyed the comforts of playing at home this weekend. But just because it was at Yost Ice Arena doesn’t mean everything was going to come easy for the Wolverines against the No. 20 Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
Despite the tough opponent, Michigan kept its momentum going by winning both games over Notre Dame.
Friday night’s game started off as something of a defensive battle, as the team’s played to a scoreless tie in the first period.
