ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan ice hockey team held its annual media day Monday (Sept. 21) at Yost Ice Arena. Head coach Red Berenson and Wolverine players interviewed with the media before taking a team photo on the ice at Yost.
Michigan head coach Red Berenson enters his 32nd season behind the bench of the Michigan hockey team in 2015-16, having guided the Wolverines to record-setting success. Under his direction, U-M won two national championships, in 1996 and 1998, qualified for 22 consecutive NCAA tournaments from 1991-2012 -- an NCAA record -- and reached the Frozen Four on 11 occasions.
