ANN ARBOR -- If you would have said five years ago that Maurice Hurst would turn into a first-round NFL draft prospect, some might not have believed it.
A four-star prospect out of Westwood, Mass., Hurst wasn't exactly highly recruited. He had a scholarship offer from about a dozen Division I schools to play football; most of them concentrated in the Big Ten or the northeast.
Schools down south didn't want to take a chance on him.
