LOS ANGELES - The largest donor in University of Michigan history has been honored with an ESPY for his philanthropy.
Detroit native Stephen M. Ross is a 1962 graduate of the school. He is the chairman of The Related Companies, a global real estate development firm and owner of the NFL's Miami Dolphins. He received the Stuart Scott ENSPIRE Award at the ESPN Sports Humanitarian Awards on Tuesday night.
Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business is named in his honor. He also attended the Wayne State School of Law.
