ANN ARBOR -- Michigan's hockey team is in the Frozen Four for the 25th time.
With the Wolverines set to face Notre Dame at 9:30 p.m. tonight at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota, MLive is counting down the four days by highlighting an iconic moment in the history of the program each day.
We conclude the countdown with Brendan Morrison's overtime goal in the 1996 national championship game that gave the Wolverines a 3-2 victory over Colorado College.
Morrison, who was all alone in front of the net, pounced on rebound and put into an empty net, giving Michigan its first national title since 1964.
