Michigan hasn't grabbed a player out of Mater Dei in California in some 20+ years and that guy was a non-descript full back. Hopefully, that changed with the commitment of 4 star WR Cristian Dixon who picked Michigan over the likes of USC, Cal, LSU, Nebraska, Oregon, Texas A&M, and Washington State.
Dixon has a bit of discrepancy in his rankings between services as ESPN and Rivals have him in their top 175 while 24/7 doesn't even rank him nationally as a 3 star 96th WR in the country. One of the issues is, Dixon transferred to Mater Dei last season and started the year with an injury and was playing catch-up all season.
