Michigan has benefited from transfers since Jimmy has taken over the program. Jake Rudock started the trend when he transferred from Iowa and turned that decision into a NFL backup role. Michigan's most famous transfer of course, is current QB Shea Patterson from Ole Miss. Michigan also had 2 DB's transfer to the program but hardly see the field.
The Big Ten, had a few high profile guys enter the portal yesterday:
- Former 4 Star CB from Michigan Myles Simms
- Penn State (expected) Starting QB Tommie Stevens
- Ohio State back-up QB red shirt freshman Matthew Baldwin
I'm not crying for OSU who lost 1 QB to the NFL, another to a transfer to Miami, and now Baldwin is leaving.
