It took up until the home finale last month against Northwestern, but Michigan freshman quarterback Jadyn Davis finally got playing time ... for one snap.
Davis handed the ball off to running back Tavierre Dunlap, who took it 20 yards to the house for the final touchdown of the 50-6 victory for the Wolverines. It would have been nice to see Davis air it out a bit, but given the circumstances that evening, that just wasn’t in the cards for him.
But Michigan does have one more game ahead before the offseason, a New Year’s Eve tilt with Alabama in the ReliaQuest Bowl, so there is another opportunity for Davis to showcase what he’s got.
