Michigan football's search for a new starting cornerback just got more interesting.
Redshirt sophomore Sammy Faustin recently switched from safety to cornerback, according to coach Jim Harbaugh.
“He’s doing a really nice job there the last week he’s been there,” Harbaugh said on the "Inside Michigan Football" radio show with Jon Jansen on Monday night.
Faustin, a former three-star prospect, appeared in nine games on special teams in 2019. He played on defense in three contests. And now, he's the latest contender to replace Ambry Thomas, who opted out of the 2020 season.
