Michigan football continues to build out its recruiting class.
The Wolverines landed a commitment from linebacker Casey Phinney on Friday morning, marking their third commitment over the past two days and their fifth since March 25.
"Thank you to Coach Brown and Coach Harbaugh for giving me this opportunity and recruiting me for the past few years," Phinney wrote on Twitter.
Phinney, who plays at Noble and Greenough School in Massachusetts, is a three-star recruit and the No. 998 overall prospect, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He held offers from Army and Massachusetts, among others.
