ANN ARBOR -- While the Michigan offense has been long thought to be Jim Harbaugh's show, the play-calling process in 2018 remains unclear.
The Wolverines entered the season without an official offensive coordinator after Tim Drevno resigned in January following an 8-5 season, one that saw Michigan rank 105th nationally in yards per game.
Drevno shared those play-calling duties with assistant head coach and passing-game coordinator Pep Hamilton, evident in the Amazon Prime documentary released in May. But Harbaugh also made a point last fall of saying he had the final say on what would be relayed to the quarterback.
