Grant Newsome's still hoping for the best, but right now, he says his football future is in the hands of his doctors.
Michigan's redshirt junior left tackle has not played a snap of competitive football since suffering a dislocated knee in October 2016 that required an extended hospital stay, multiple surgeries and a massive bout of rehabilitation.
Still, Newsome's goal remains the same: To compete on the football field when the Wolverines begin their 2018 season.
