When Michigan football hired Josh Gattis as its new offensive coordinator in January, it sparked excitement and intrigue.
Now, the former Alabama assistant is generating buzz on the recruiting trail, especially among the state’s top prospects.
Led by Gattis’ late push, the Wolverines were in the mix for Oak Park 2020 star Justin Rogers — the No. 1 player in Michigan and No. 1 offensive guard in the nation. Rogers picked Kentucky on Monday, but spoke highly of Gattis.
