Michigan football cornerbacks coach Mike Zordich will tell you how he feels about his players.
In the past, he has called out players for being inconsistent, missing time because of bumps and bruises and, in some cases, simply not playing well enough.
It's part of what makes Zordich an effective assistant coach. He'll give a blunt assessment of where things stand, and he knows how to get the most out of his players.
Tuesday afternoon, he was once again candid about his position group. And this time, there was only positivity.
“I guess you could say I’m pleasantly happy that Vincent (Gray) has come along, that Jaylen Kelly-Powell has come along and that Ambry (Thomas) is — just the sky is the limit with that guy, he’s really had a great spring," Zordich said.
