It was an interesting point and one that came from a place of honesty.
After Michigan football spent weeks telling anyone willing to listen it was ready for everything Notre Dame Stadium under the lights had to offer, the team Wolverines got a strong dose of reality Sept. 1.
"I think we've matured a lot, more than we should have in three games," junior guard Ben Bredeson said this week. "Just with the way normal teams mature throughout a season, I think we're past where we probably should be on paper.
