Lavert Hill was one of the top defensive backs in the Big Ten.
Somewhat surprisingly, the former Michigan football cornerback went undrafted in this year's NFL draft.
But it didn't take too long before Hill found an NFL home: The former Detroit King product has agreed to an undrafted free agent deal with the Kansas City Chiefs, according to Yahoo's Terez Paylor.
Hill will be the second Wolverine to join the reigning Super Bowl champs, along with defensive end Mike Danna, a fifth-round selection.
A three-year starter, Hill was one of Michigan's most important defenders.
