Two years ago, in the midst of a breakout season, Josh Uche was dreaming of what would come next.
A backup linebacker at the time, Uche steadily earned playing time in 2018. And he impressed, with multi-sack games against Michigan State and Penn State.
“I want to be a first-round draft pick," Uche told the Free Press at the time. "That’s my ultimate goal, because I believe I have the talent to do so."
This week, Uche will find out if he achieved his goal.
The linebacker is considered one of the top pass-rushers in the 2020 NFL draft and has been projected anywhere from the late first round to the third round.
