Michigan football wide receiver Tarik Black is now walking around without a boot on his injured right foot and, according to coach Jim Harbaugh, had a meeting with his doctor last week.

Asked for any type of formal update on Black's status Monday, Harbaugh did not offer many details.

"He's progressing," Harbaugh said. "Nicely."

Black suffered a broken bone in his right foot one week before the Wolverines opened the 2018 season at Notre Dame on Sept.
