In his first public comments since the COVID-19 outbreak began, Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh discussed the potential resumption of sports during a podcast appearance with Jay Nordlinger, a childhood friend and senior editor of the National Review.
Harbaugh's thoughts: "It's good to hope" that sports will return.
"Hope and going to prepare," Harbaugh said. "I'm not going to give it one thought that it’s not going to happen. It’s like being a backup quarterback – it’s better to be prepared and not have the opportunity, than to not prepare and then your chance comes and your opportunity comes, and you’re not prepared to do it.
