Quarterback Tevin Carter is on Michigan's radar. So much so they extended an offer to him.
Carter is a prospect in the class of 2022, meaning he’ll begin high school this fall. Yet the Freedom Prep Academy incoming freshman already holds offers from the Wolverines, Texas A&M and LSU, among others.
“Really, what’s happened in the last five to seven years, it’s become such a rat race of trying to identify early underclassmen,” said ESPN recruiting and college football analyst Tom Luginbill. “I think eighth grade is going way too far, but you’re trying to find the young guys.
