Michigan football’s Donovan Peoples-Jones is not a man of many words.
The soft-spoken sophomore receiver has never said much. On Monday afternoon, Peoples-Jones asked if he needed to speak quietly because senior receiver Grant Perry was talking with reporters a dozen feet away.
“You can talk as loud as you want,” said one reporter.
A few seconds later, Peoples-Jones started talking at his usual volume.
But Peoples-Jones' quiet nature may be the only thing about him that has not changed.
He leads the team in every receiving category with 30 catches for 447 yards and seven touchdowns; as a freshman, Peoples-Jones caught 22 passes for 277 yards and zero touchdowns.
