Michigan football running back Donovan Edwards posted a social media message on Thursday morning to clarify an antisemitic tweet that was retweeted by his account.
Late Wednesday night, Donovan Edwards' Twitter account retweeted a clip of a video of Kanye West sharing antisemitic rhetoric.
The caption of the tweet reads: "Jewish people will literally tell you that they want you to kill your own and humiliate your women simply because they have children to feed."
A screenshot shows that the video was retweeted onto Edwards' account but was soon deleted.
On Thursday, Edwards posted on Twitter, calling the retweet "a glitch.
