Michigan football running back Donovan Edwards posted a social media message on Thursday morning to clarify an antisemitic tweet that was retweeted by his account.
He later took to Twitter again Thursday night to provide clarity on his actions and apologize for what he termed a mistake.
Late Wednesday night, Donovan Edwards' Twitter account retweeted a clip of a video of Kanye West sharing antisemitic rhetoric.
The caption of the tweet reads: "Jewish people will literally tell you that they want you to kill your own and humiliate your women simply because they have children to feed.
