Chris Evans had a weekly routine last fall.
On Saturday, he would work an afternoon shift as a delivery driver and dishwasher at Ahmo's, a local Mediterranean restaurant with a location in downtown Ann Arbor on East Huron Street.
The restaurant had a television mounted on the wall inside that would broadcast Michigan football games. And while Evans waited for his delivery orders, he would watch as much as he could — and witness what he was missing out on.
"I (couldn't) catch all of the game if it was busy," Evans said Friday in a video call, "but if it wasn’t, I’d just sit there and watch it.
