Lynn Redd had the entire thing down to a science.
Redd and her husband, David, served as a sort of co-coordinators when it came to the recruitment of their son, talented Lawrence Central (Ind.) linebacker Cameron McGrone.
His job was to evaluate what each school had to offer from a football perspective: Researching the coaching staff, how McGrone would fit into a defense and the program's reputation.
Her job was to pepper schools with pre-planned questions surrounding both the academic profile of the university, and the expectations inside the athletic department with school work.
